The 7 Steps to The Cure of Souls helps us realize that all of us sin and fall
short of God's glory, but that by following God's grace with just a tiny bit of faith in Jesus, the treasures
of eternity and heaven are ours.
Reading and re-reading the 7 Steps has made me, for the first time, truly realize just how important
confession is for our sanctification.
Using the 7 Steps has led me to double my prayer time, going from one hour a day to two hours each day, and
has given me peace beyond measure.
God does not need your money. He already owns everything. But from the time Noah's ark rested until the end
of this age, there shall be a seedtime and a harvest time. The 7 Steps to The Cure of Souls is fertile soil,
which Jesus tells us produces 30, 60 or even 100 fold. Understanding is more precious than gold. Donating to
the ministry of SCS IS understanding!

Rev. Sam Seamans |
There's a well known contemporary Christian song that contains the line,"We need to get back to the basics of life...". The 7 Steps to the Cure of Souls Book does just that and in a way that most people can read and inwardly digest it's contents in a day or two. Several members of my parish have begun to use it as a sort of "very classy tract". Beyond it's great look and feel, the contents go to the heart of the matter in such a way that it's readers are brought back to the foot of the cross where sin is confessed and true faith and growth are given a starting point. I recommend this book for anyone who feels lost, confused, and in need of God, or to any Christian who could use a good refresher on the basics. It's message is quite clear, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." The Rev. "Inspired to inspire, Dr O'Block's psychotherapy offers a rejuvenated
breath of hope through applied faith. Labyrinths of complicated theology dissolved gently through maxims
of simple Christian unification. The realization that we are all temples of the Holy Spirit is clear for
patient and therapist alike through simple steps independent of cluttered theological hopscotch. Stumbling
blocks dematerialize into enlightened surprises as hope is restored through rejuvenated faith.
Christ's promises through His beatitudes with the gifts of the Holy Spirit are crystallized as the wellspring
of charity and unselfishness. Ultimately these seven steps lead to His simple last supper message of sharing
as the soul's prerequisite in faith before hope, finally welded in compassion. As a "good read"
Dr O'Block's book is inspired to inspire the soul's timely cure through simple unselfishness without falling
into historical scriptural validation time traps".

The true health challenge of the new millennium is to reclaim our bodies, minds
and spirits from governmental-media-pharmaceutical domination and begin experiencing the full life that our
Creator intended for us. The Cure of Souls is a continuation of Christ's mission on earth, which is to
teach and sanctify the world. Dr. O'Block has summed it up in liberating language that anyone can
understand and that everyone should read.

Rev. Karl Pruter

When Doctor Robert O'Block first told me that he was going to write a book, "On
the Cure of Souls" I looked forward to it in great anticipation. At the end of the last century, we had
come to know much about the care and healing of the body and mind but knew little about the cure of souls. That
century, because of its ignorance concerning the spiritual essence of our lives, turned out to be the bloodiest
in history. Nothing is going to change unless we learn about our souls and how, through the cure of souls, we
can do the one thing necessary to bring peace to the world – and that is to change mankind, one soul sick
person at a time. Dr. O'Block’s book points the way to our salvation and to the salvation of a war weary
and troubled world.

Seven is a wonderful number. In the Bible it stands for completion. It is God and
the Earth in harmony. The Lord is “3,” or the glorious Tri-unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The earth is “4,” for it has four corners (North, South, East, West). Add 4 and 3, and 7 is
the “whole” or “holy” number. Holiness means God and humans in harmony. It is entirely
appropriate that the seventh step, “holiness” shares the biblical number for “wholeness,”
for “holiness” is nothing less than ascending the staircase of spirituality until we are once more
at home in Our Father’s House.
Years ago, Fr. Nicolas Gihr, a great teacher of the Roman Catholic Church, wrote that “the body of a
Christian is the temple of the Holy Ghost, for it becomes sanctified by grace and it is to be transfigured
by glory.”
May that be our blessing as you faithfully complete the 7 Steps to the Cure of Souls.

In addressing the important subject of spiritual healing, Fr. O’Block has provided a valuable tool for those who are interested in the care of whole person. This is a fresh and interesting approach to an important topic in the development of the spiritual life.
